All For One & One For All

Sounds like the motto of the Three Musketeers, yes? It is also the motto of the National League of American Pen Women and of the Florida State Association (FSA-NLAPW).

We are professional women artists, writers, and composers, living on Florida's Gulf Coast in Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando Counties. Founded in 1897 by three women journalists/ illustrators who were excluded from the all-male press clubs of the day, NLAPW offers nationwide and local networking and various opportunities for professional growth.

In today's cut-throat world, we are tempted to view each other as competitors and to hoard hard-won knowledge. We have learned, however, that when we share and help each other grow, the profession itself grows -- and we grow with it.
